Hey, this is Syed Yasir Afzal. I am  gonna start working on my project of CT II. This project is about making a game using different tools or technologies. The game I am going to make is "The Checkers". Making this game is a bit difficult task for me, because it involves much logic, and tough programming, but it will be good task for learning.

In this game the player will be able to make its move using both mouse and keyboard efficiently. The display module used in the game will be responsible for drawing the state of the game onto the screen, and the player will feel that he is playing on an original game board.

The initial plan for the project is to understand the whole logic of the game, design a complete algorithm using the logic involve in the game, then making a pseudo code which will help me to start writing code on python.

The reason why I have chosen this game is that, it is one of my favorite game and I love to play this game, and I thought if I work on that game I will take interest in that, although it is trickier but it will give me critical mind and will help me in future to do some more challenging stuff.

The resources which will be used in the project are as follows:

  •  Pycharm.
  •  Piglet. 
  •  GUI (graphical user interface).


The goal of this project is to learn the use of different tools and resources, improve my programming skills, and get command over python programming language.
